Discover the Glamorous Yet, Casual Elegance of the Newest French Heritage Collection

HIGH POINT, N.C. (April 20, 2017) – Experience the sophisticated, yet understated elegance of the newest collection by French Heritage, a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of fine home furnishings, at the 2017 Spring International Home Furnishings Market. The company’s commitment to thoughtful design, high-quality materials, and craftsmanship is evident throughout the unique and customizable pieces of this spring collection.

Stylish finishes and unforgettable accents help bring to life French Heritage’s statement pieces of casegoods, upholstery, and occasional pieces for the living, dining, and bedrooms. The curated mix of contrasting materials like cement slabs and mosaic glass complement each other perfectly to redefine luxurious harmony.

“This new collection captures the essence of a relaxed style that is still luxurious and chic,” said Henessy Wayser, President of French Heritage. “Customers will be inspired to transform their everyday living spaces into a environment that not only evokes a sense of comfort, but highlights their fashionable style and attitude.”

Wayser selected sagewood, zebrawood, and black and antique cherry veneers to highlight the clean lines of the casegoods. In smart juxtaposition, she selected black marble and stone inlay to accent many of the pieces, giving the forms a modern glamour. Parquetry top detail and metal trim further enhance these statement pieces.

Completing the collection is a series of handcrafted upholstery that enhances the beauty of the casegoods like nothing else can. The colorways of grey, taupe, soft brown and black contrast to the warm wood and glossy lacquer finishes, mosaics and cool cement tones for a look and feel that is truly distinctive.

FRENCH HERITAGE INTRODUCES THE FACET COLLECTION BY MICHELLE WORKMAN

Thursday, April 20 at the French Heritage High Point, N.C. Showroom

HIGH POINTN.C. (April 20, 2017) – French Heritage, fine designer, manufacturer, and distributor of home furnishings unveiled Facet, its latest collection by renowned designer, Michelle Workman, at the Spring 2017 International Home Furnishings Market.  The lifestyle collection of 45 pieces includes casegoods, upholstery, and occasional pieces for the living room, dining room, bedroom, and office.

French Heritage’s collaboration with Workman has been in the works or more than 18 months, bringing to the company a diverse product portfolio inspired by Hollywood Glam Deco for a collection that reflects a glamorous and sophisticated luxury.  Beginning as a collection of hand drawn sketches, Henessy Wayser, President of French Heritage, worked closely with Workman to take her vision and make it a reality.  The end results are exquisite forms that resonate with bold contemporary appeal that are timeless and of-the-moment.

Balance, proportion, and scale are evident throughout the collection with a series of casegoods and upholstered silhouettes in a creative juxtaposition of clean lines and curved silhouettes. Facet is emphasized by a selection of exotic woods, hand-rubbed wood finishes, glossy pastel lacquers, and faux Shagreen with accents of brass, copper, and nickel.

Workman’s belief that balance is created within a room when mixing styles and periods, marrying the old and new, and combining pattern and texture for an intensely personal and curated result that is reflected throughout her designs for French Heritage. Workman “relishes in the hunt,” evaluating each element to create a room rich with character and an easy familiarity that naturally evokes a sense of comfort in fashionable luxury.

“We knew immediately that Michelle would be a perfect partner with French Heritage to broaden its contemporary category,” said Wayser.  “It was important that the designs had Modern flair but also remained rooted in our belief that home furnishings should reflect beautiful design and quality craftsmanship that are unique and special.  Michelle did not disappoint!  Her keen sense of style and understanding of the nuances of warm, transitional design, and love of the French Art Deco form made it easy for French Heritage to take that next step in expanding its design repertoire with the Facet Collection.”

All materials needed to feature our new April 2017 market introductions can be found at the following location: http://www.frenchheritage.com/press.

Casegoods

Zebrawood, Rosewood, and Oak burl veneers, as well as textured faux Shagreen, and fashionable lacquers emphasizes the clean lines of the designs.  Solid brass and copper, brass inlay, gold accents, nickel, and mirror with contrasting interiors add jewel-like touches to the designs.

Meticulous execution was used to complete the designs as Workman envisioned, and provided French Heritage with the opportunity to render true-to-form Old World craftsmanship.  Each piece can stand-alone as a statement, or can perfectly complement existing furnishings within a room.

Upholstery and Fabrics

Rounding out the collection is a series of handcrafted upholstery that enhances the beauty of the casegoods in a lifestyle setting. French Heritage partnered with Kravet® by selecting a rich array of textural fabrics that includes velvets, satins, and woven jacquards offered in a palette of midnight blue, fuchsia, winter green, gypsy rose, and shades of light and deep purple.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

High Point, NC – April 18, 2015

French Heritage | Furnishings as Personal Philosophy

As you enter the French Heritage showroom, you instantly realize something is quite different.  There’s a distinct point-of-view: in the space, the furnishings, and even the presentation.  While it may be expected to think, “Ah, a French point-of-view,” based on the company’s moniker, the reality is broader, more considered, more philosophical.

“A home is about everything,” notes Henessy Wayser, the company’s president, “It’s an extension of who lives in it, the things you love, the large moments and small details that resonate with you.”  And, where “eclectic” misses the mark, implying a thoughtful, nearly pre-packaged, randomness, the French Heritage philosophy espouses a freedom to make choices based on the pleasure, the enjoyment you derive from a particular item.  It celebrates the way we accumulate—and we all do it—and layer on our possessions that ultimately illustrates our own personal style.

Take, for example an area the company describes as “Creative Disruption.”  It expresses the feeling you get when you look at creativity and beauty differently.  The concept of perfect imperfection.  Each piece showcased here is beautiful in its own right, but not forced into a mass standard of uniformity.  Nor will you find suite-making or matchy-matchness. The stunning Timberwood table with its carefully applied quatrefoil parquetry inlaid in rustic wood is juxtaposed with contemporary art and sparkling crystal chandeliers. Even the walls of the space appear beautifully striated until, at closer inspection, you see they are, in fact, a random pattern of free-hand strokes and drippings. Or, the glass and metal table with a wide band of hand-applied gold leaf with a “frayed” edge. A troop of monkeys encircles the table in the form of gilt Concerto chairs. Further on, a mango wood table exhibits eye-catching, natural wood character. So much so that there is no stain on it, just a lusciously transparent sealant, that highlights the texture, grain and hewn top and edges. Creative disruption indeed.

As in any home, French Heritage blends old with new, vintage and freshly minted.  Vintage, yes the real thing, as in antique iron barrels repurposed as seating. Rustic chairs with metal mesh seats cozy up to a chic baluster round table sporting an elegant star and herringbone inlay. There’s even a collection of authentic mosaic accent tables that proffer sparkling colors and intricate bird-and-branch designs, floral motifs and brightly hued geometric patterns.

Step into the Bercy Neoclassical Library and you have a totally different perspective.  Exquisitely crafted architectural elements with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, glass-front cases, and door and drawer units create an enveloping space for study or contemplation.  As is evidenced by the company’s philosophy that “people should be free to make choices and to love their choices,” the Bercy Neoclassical Library is completely customizable, from the configuration of each element, to the wood species of your choice, to more than 15 finishes which, in and of themselves, can be mixed into a statistically-staggering number of combinations.

And, never one to leave out the more adventurous fashionistas among us, French Heritage presents an archetypical French power desk in contemporary stark white lacquer with gold accents and an anthracite lacquered Baroque bookcase with suggestively sinuous curves.

The French Heritage showroom is located at 1638 West English Road in High Point. On-site parking is available or take the Market’s Go Anywhere shuttle for door-to-door convenience.  Our Cordon Bleu-trained chef prepares gourmet lunches daily, 11am until 2pm.  Please join us.  For more information, visit FrenchHeritage.com.

French Heritage Captures “Le Piment de la Vie”, Launches Expanded Satellite Showroom

Known for the enduring beauty and romantic flavor of
classic French design, French Heritage spices things up for April Market with neoclassique touches,
contemporary, fashion-forward colors and boldly upholstered silhouettes.

French Heritage has captured the essence of “le piment de la vie,” or as we Americans say, “the spice
of life,” with perfect accent pieces that bring flair and pizzazz to a room. The company will introduce a
unique group of pieces focused on the wine connoisseur featuring distinctive silhouettes and refined
finishes with functional features such as integrated wine buckets and ample storage for glasses and
bottles. The Chantilly Wine Butler, a small accent table with three keyhole-shaped shelves is sure to
be as talked about as the wine selection being served.

Throughout the new introductions, the versatility of timeless French design shines through.
Casegoods featuring a beautiful “Vieux Bois” or “old wood” finish bring elegance and refinement to the
Luberon bedroom. Decorative gold-tone metal appliqués add sparkle and “bling” to textural finishes
on chests and tables. Exotic hand painted birds and minute mosaics highlight vintage-inspired accent
tables. Classic upholstery silhouettes are fitted with lavish fabrics such as woven geometrics,
damasks and dramatic printed toiles.

“If you think of French design as stuffy and staid, think again!” says Henessy Wayser, co-founder of
French Heritage. “In our showroom we immerse you in the playful harmony of blue and white in every
shade – or the daring over-the-top opulence of gold, silver and vivid color mixed together everywhere.
To illustrate the transitional/traditional versatility of our product we also feature the country calm of
natural woods and nature-inspired neutrals,” she added.

French Heritage is also launching a new, much larger satellite showroom at 422 N. Hamilton Street.
The showroom will include “Parisian Bazaar” showcasing one-of-a-kind and unique pieces, along with
some special antique finds, all at discounted price points and available for immediate delivery.
Additionally, selected items from the Spring 2014 collection will be previewed.

French Heritage Celebrates “Forever French” with New Satellite Showroom

Experience the luxury and timeless beauty of fine furnishings with a French “twist”... finishes with surprising pops of color, and classic silhouettes fitted with unexpected, exotic upholstery prints. French Heritage merges Old World craftsmanship with casual elegance to create an eclectic appeal that is “Forever French.”
For the October High Point Market, French Heritage launches a new, centrally located satellite
showroom, “Parisian Bazaar”, presenting one-of-a-kind and unique pieces, along with some special
antique finds.

French Heritage features the innovative, digitally printed fabrics of The Nicolette Mayer Collection, with color and detail previously unattainable through conventional screenprinting techniques. When these fabrics are wed to classic French silhouettes the result is an unexpected, casual elegance that is unmistakably French Heritage.

“The beautiful marriage of classical French case goods in hand-rubbed woods and jewel-colored paints with digitally printed, modern baroque fabrics is striking,” says Henessy Wayser, co-founder of French Heritage. “Pairing the innovations of technology with French ‘Classiques’ is the essence of modern sophistication interpreted for the home.”

Long-time furniture industry executive Gary Edge has joined the French Heritage team as Vice President of Sales and Merchandising. Edge brings extensive knowledge and experience in high-end furniture having formerly worked as Vice President of Furniture Design at Macy's, DMM at ABC Carpet & Home, and General Merchandise Manager of Pierre Deux and Domain.

About French Heritage: French Heritage is the leading manufacturer of French antique reproduction furniture and accessories, committed to the perpetuation of beautiful homes through the rich culture of quality home furnishings. FRENCH HERITAGE MOVES FASHION FORWARD

Introducing Brights

French Heritage has always been the go-to source for furniture as fashion. People’s homes should be a reflection of their own style, an expression of what they love and how they want to live. Combining this philosophy with incredible craftsmanship provides fertile ground for fine furniture that can also be fun.

The slim cherry chests and tables from Félix Monge that have been French Heritage favorites offer a perfect example. Lovely in their original versions, they now also pop in bright fashion hues like pink, aqua, and blue. The combination of natural and painted finishes adds charm to vacation homes, kids’ rooms, breezeways—any place you want to add a touch of cheekiness without sacrificing the hallmarks of fine furniture.

To see this collection of French Heritage Brights, visit French Heritage at 1638 English Road in High Point, where you can also enjoy haute cuisine breakfasts, lunches, and hors d’oeuvres daily. Or Salon at Market Suites Booth M-8029 April 12–25

FRENCH HERITAGE INVITES NATURE IN

For High Point’s Spring Market, Design Styles Influenced by the World’s Natural Riches

“Let nature be your teacher,” wrote Wordsworth, counsel that French Heritage has taken to heart with its latest introductions. Whether it’s the sparkle of a precious stone, the amazing beauty of a garden filled with flowers or the spirit of the wilds these furnishings bring nature’s most beautiful elements to your home.

In an age where technology can be as stifling as it is liberating, a natural refuge is essential. French Heritage lets you create the sanctuary you crave—one that ushers in a breath of fresh air with energizing forms and designs. One, that lets the light in with jewel tones. Or one that calms with earths innate beauty.

“These pieces reflect nature in myriad ways, from decorative renderings of birds and blossoms to finishes with the luster of pearls and gold. They are also about special touches, like taking a fabric and transposing it onto furniture through hand painting. There is a tremendous amount of handwork in this collection, which is one more aspect of its natural character,” says company president Henessy Wayser. “ Humans paying homage to the earth and the beauty of nature, is a great way to live, and these new furnishings reflect that mood and aesthetic.”

So surround yourself with nature—in the comfort of home—with furnishings that wear the comfort, craftsmanship and fashion that are this company’s hallmark.

To see styles as multifaceted as a diamond, and just as brilliant in the way they can transform a home, visit the French Heritage Salon at Market Suites Booth M-8029 April 12–25. FRENCH HERITAGE BRINGING BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED FURNITURE TO YOU SINCE 1992!

Contributing to your individual personality and style for twenty years.

French Heritage celebrates 20 years in the furniture industry in the United States. Over the years, we have been a part of the changes in trends and styles, transitioning from the old ways to the new ways, adapting to the use of technology, including the use of the internet and Ipad. French Heritage has learned from its extraordinary experiences and pulled strengths from the past, all of which played a role in the growth and success of the company today.

President of French Heritage, Henessy Wayser excitedly reports, “Every market, I look forward to the innovation and creation of new pieces with the passion of making beautiful furniture for people to incorporate into their homes, while expressing their individuality.”

Jacques Wayser, Vice President of the company enlightens, “It has been an interesting journey,” he says. “Although the Wayser family had been in the furniture industry, both in Europe and the USA for many years, the French Heritage brand had its humble first market in October, 1992 in the exercise room of the Radisson Hotel in High Point, which must have been 250 square feet at best. Today, we have expanded to a 13,000 square foot French Chateau on English equipped with a full French bistro restaurant. We started with two Love Bird Armoires and a couple of occasional tables and today, I am afraid to count the SKU’s! Henessy and I have seen our industry transform itself many times and we are looking forward to what the next twenty years will bring,” states Wayser.

Please Join French Heritage in a celebration of twenty innovative and creative years in the Home Furnishings industry. Visit the French Heritage signature booth in Salon at Market Suites Booth M-8029 October 13–18. Or visit our French Chateau, 1638 English Road in High Point, ask about our Parisian Bazaar and, while you’re there, enjoy breakfast, lunch, or an apéritif at the French Heritage Bistro.

DREAM IT UP! FRENCH HERITAGE [BRINGS IT TO LIFE]
Celebrating the power of personality at High Point’s Fall Market

People say you’re a dreamer? French Heritage says bring it on! Gone are the days when people walked into a big store and ordered furniture by the suite—a dining room set, or something sedate for the living room, all beautifully matched, much like what parents or neighbors had … and boring as heck.

Furniture fashionistas rejoice: French Heritage has pieces that let you express yourself. Adore the silhouette of a particular table but long to see it in tropical tones? Prefer your stripes on a sideboard rather than a rug? You dream it up and French Heritage brings it to life.

“People today want their individual style reflected in everything; it’s all about having something that is uniquely theirs—and why not?” asks company president Henessy Wayser. “They don’t have to be like the Joneses or anyone else. Their homes should reflect their style through signature furnishings.”

Dozens of new additions to the Avenue and Maison lines are dressed in moods from eclectic French romantic to adventure-seeking exotic. Each wears the practicality, versatility, comfort, and craftsmanship that are this company’s hallmark.

For an everything-goes-eclectic design style, visit the French Heritage signature booth in Salon at Market Suites, Booth M-8029, October 13–18. Or visit our French Chateau, 1638 English Road in High Point and, while there, enjoy breakfast, lunch, or an apéritif at the French Heritage Bistro.

YOUNG DESIGNER’S EFFORT SHOWCASED AT MARKET

Katie Stanley Finds Modern Design Inspiration in Ancient Greece

Last year at High Point, market attendees had the pleasure of seeing debut works by young designer Katie Stanley. In her sophomore outing, the North Carolina native has moved from mirrors to furniture, and French Heritage is delighted to feature her tables and chairs in its spring collection.

Geometric art dates back to antiquity, and Stanley has always been drawn to its controlled shapes. The right angles and continuous line of the Greek key motif show through clearly in her DAX tables, while the GRETA chair highlights the organic purity of the circle.

Inspiration for a table comprised of six gravity-defying pieces derived from both the aesthetics of geometry and the realities of student life. Confined to a studio apartment while in graduate school, Stanley would spread her work around her in little stations. Moving papers and pieces to and fro, she thought how wonderful it would be for each pile to have its own portable surface, with the option of pulling them all together. Thus the brilliantly flexible FUSION table was born.

Visual Coordinator for French Heritage, Stanley graduated from Salem College and then went on to Michigan’s Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, earning a degree in furniture design in 2009. Says Stanley, “The opportunity for a young designer to produce work right out of school is really rare. I am so grateful to Henessy and Jacques for producing and showing my designs through French Heritage; their support and encouragement is invaluable.”

You can see Katie Stanley’s new work at the French Heritage Chateau, 1638 English Road in High Point.

FRENCH HERITAGE—ECLECTIC GLAMOUR-C’EST MAGNIFIC!

French Heritage debuts a full spectrum of styles at High Point’s Spring Market

Where to start …? The possibilities are endless—just like the introductions we’ve lined up for spring. And as with so many of our favorite rooms, eclecticism rules. From the no-nonsense influence of indigenous raw woods and hand-forged iron details to the uber glam of a Louis buffet in ruby red or Lapis blue commode with bat wing silver hardware. French Heritage captures the current ethos.

Our all-white showroom is the canvas for an artistic blend of timeless furnishings and brilliant colors. Contemporary sophistication is a highlight of our Paris Loft collection featuring Felix Monge, Fusion, and Dax occasional furniture. For sparkling accents, unexpected color juxtaposed with classic forms offers stylish fun. (Really, is there anyone who wouldn’t smile at the sight of a French commode in zebra stripes?) And comfort meets fashion in our elegantly upholstered club chairs, sofas, and ottomans.

These fresh offerings from French Heritage all have the practicality, versatility, comfort, and craftsmanship that are hallmarks of the company and essential for modern living.

“French Heritage has never been so beautiful and exciting” says company vice-president Henessy Wayser. “We have put a lot of energy into making exquisite fashion forward products that will excite the designer’s imagination and make furnishing your home fun again.”

Fun, fashion, and eclectic glamour makes April market at French Heritage super magnifique! Experience it yourself April 21–26 at the French Heritage Chateau, 1638 English Road in High Point. While there, enjoy breakfast, lunch, or an apéritif at the French Heritage Bistro.

OH LA LA … C’EST CHIC! FRENCH HERITAGE AT HIGH POINT
Celebrating old friends, new beginnings, chic furnishings, and great vibes at High Point’s Fall Market

Fashion (naturally), drama (essential), and quirky classics (no one wants to live in a museum) are the themes at the French Heritage showroom this fall. More than 60 new additions to the Avenue and Maison lines—from harlequin-painted splendor to steel-riveted cubism—carry forth the practicality, versatility, comfort, and craftsmanship that are this company’s hallmark.

“We’ve had so much fun getting ready for market, using lots of color, gold and black, unexpected details, and fanciful classic pieces that could wake up Louis XV,” laughs company vice-president Henessy Wayser. “Adding a fun modern twist to a beautiful classic gives fresh new personality to the piece and makes furniture exciting again.”
This old-meets-new motif plays out in other ways, too. French Heritage has renewed its early collaborations with esteemed French manufacturer Richelieu Furniture and award-winning designer Michel Koehl. The past is everyone’s heritage, and this happy reunion is producing furniture that both embodies the elegance and grace of classical pieces and reflects the change in decorative fashion from less formality to more comfort.

The new Ferault Group for the well-priced but still fashion forward Maison collection also looks forward and back. Its bold steel and cherrywood designs with distinctive hardware capture a vintage industrial chic that transforms commercial elements into striking designs for the home.

Savor an aesthetic that pushes the boundaries of never-fall-out-of favor classics October 22–27 at the French Heritage Chateau, 1638 English Road in High Point. While there, enjoy breakfast, lunch, or an apéritif at the French Heritage Bistro.
